Haces muchos años durante un taller al que asisti hablamos de una dinamica muy comun en la vida de las personas y esta consiste basicamente en decir “Hola” y “Adios”, no meramente en la forma de una expression de saludo sino a cosas en general, como a las personas, amigos, asi tambien eventos y momentos que forman o formaron parte de nuestra vida.

Hoy, 12 de Octubre del 2019, toca decir adios a algo que durante 9 años llego a ser parte muy integra de mi vida y de la vida de muchos de nosotros que visitamos este blog y que por obvias razones temenos cierto gusto y por supuesto cariño a esta serie.

Me puedo considerar afortunado en ser uno de los “primeros bronies” que conocieron la serie alla a inicios del 2011, en ese entonces solia ser parte del Furry fandom y un dia en un foro que frecuentaba alguien empezo a postear imagenes de ponies y me llamo la atencion. Asi que decidi ver el ya tradicional inicio de Twilight en Ponyville y su primer reto contra Nightmare Moon.

Desde entonces no sabia que mi vida quedaria marcada: amigos, convenciones, dramas, buenos y malos recuerdos y toda una mezcla sin fin de emociones que llegan de ese momento, que por supuesto derivaron en mi fascinacion del clop, cosa que al inicio me senti mal por ser ponies tiernos, pero que al final derivaron en el personaje y la pagina que todos conocen como “Spike el Clopero”.

Decia una imagen de un anon en /mlp/ que mientras hallan dos personas shitposteando caballitos de colores el fandom seguira vivo y en ello no podria estar mas de acuerdo, aunque si bien es cierto que la estela que llevo un dia se desvanecera a cierta medida es algo que ciertamente seguira ahi. Asi Tambien llegara momento a decir “Hola”a nuevas cosas: nuevos fandoms, nuevos retos, la G5? Solo el tiempo lo dira.

En lo que respecta a esta pagina de ya 6 años pues seguire dando lo mejor del clop, manteniendola viva mientras se pueda como testigo de estos 9 años de serie y de todo lo que represento, aunque sea en la parte mas explicita o sexual que muchos reprocharan (pero que bien varios gustan).

Con ello Spike el Clopero dice adios a MLP:FiM, con la esperanza de que su legado se mantengan en los años por venir.

Many years ago on a workshop I attended we talked about a dynamic pretty common in people’s lives and it basically consist in saying “Hello” and “Good Bye”, not only in the form of an expression of greeting but things in general, like people, friends, as well as events and moments that form part of our lives.

Today, October 12^th 2019, it’s time to say good by to something that during 9 years became a part pretty near to my life and life of a lot of us that visit this blog and by obvious reasons we have likeness and kindness to this show.

I can consider myself lucky in being part of “the first bronies” that knew the show back at the beginning of 2011, back then I used to be part of the Furry Fandom and one day in a forum that used to visit someone started posting pictures of ponies and came to my attention. So I decided to watch the now traditional beginning of Twilight in Ponyville and her first challenge with Nightmare Moon.

Since then I didn’t know my life would be marked: friends, conventions, dramas, good and bad memories and a whole mix of feelings and emotions that comes from that moment, and of course it came into my fascination for clop, thing that at the beginning I felt bad due to being cute ponies, but at the end it turned to the character and page that you all know as “El Clopero”

A picture from an anon on /mlp/ said that as long there are two people shitposting colored little horses the fandom will still alive and on that I couldn’t agree more, although while is true that the wake that the fandom had on it’s day will vanish, it’s something that will still be there. As well as the moment to say “Hello” to new things: new fandoms, new challenges, G5? Only time will tell.

In respect of this 6 year old page, well I will continue delivering the best of clop, keeping it alive as long I can as witness of the 9 years of the show and all what It represented, even If it’s on it’s more explicit and sexual way a lot will disapprove (but a lot likes).

With that being said, Spike el Clopero says farewell to MLP:FiM, with the hope that it’s legacy will keep on the years to come.
